Get Involved
Engage in the vital work of Color Me Human
Bring your talent, passion, resources and goodwill to help our county be as known for inclusivity and welcoming as it is for natural beauty and the arts, a county where every individual is valued, respected and celebrated.
We know this is not yet a reality. People of color, even children of color, LGBTQ+ persons, and others, have been made to feel unwelcome by hostile words and deeds. We believe the majority of residents are caring and compassionate. Your voice, your presence and your work can transform our county into a place of welcome, justice and diversity.
Consider volunteering, applying to be a Board member, attending events, donating to our work, and in general, in your daily words and actions, continuing to create a community that welcomes everyone.
